I am a major lover of face masks and like nothing more then pampering myself after a long day at work or a heavy night out, they are great at giving your skin that extra boost to help you look your absolute best, but they can be pricy and my bank balance isnt a massive fan, so recently ive been researching and testing out some purse friendly homemade masks and ive been loving the results.
Banana Mask
- Mash one half banana and mix in a tablespoon of orange juice with one table spoon of honey
Leave for 15 minutes and wash off. Best result for giving skin a healthy glow (all skin types)
Breakfast Mask
- Mix egg yolk, a table spoon of honey, half a cup of oatmeal and a table spoon of olive oil.
Leave for 15 - 20 minutes and wash off. Complete with protein and whole grain used to correct and calm oily skin.
Honey and Papaya Mask
- Blend together two table spoons of honey and half a cup of mashed ripe papaya
Leave for 15 - 20 minutes and wash off. Specifically for whose who have hyper-pigmentation, sun spots and uneven pigment.
Honey Citrus Mask
- Mix three table spoons of orange juice and half a cup of honey
Leave for 20 minutes and wash off. Quick fix to give face a healthy organic glow.
